Hi, I’m the maker behind a Bit of Moss. This shop started with a simple idea: when you can’t find what you want in the world, you grow it yourself.
My work is rooted in who we were as kids. We believed in fairness, kindness, and the possibility of making things better. I like to think the kids we used to be would be proud that we are still trying.
I'm a millennial trying to make something good in increasingly unhinged times. Bit of Moss is my small attempt to make things that bring a little joy into the world.
I live in Minneapolis, a city I love for its creativity, resilience, and community spirit. It shapes how I think about making things that feel good for people and good for the planet.
I'm progressive, queer, and values-driven. My daily life is a mix of touching grass, caring for pets and plants, and showing up on time for my World of Warcraft raid night.
